Throughout my career, one of my greatest passions has been creating opportunities for others. I have now been doing education and helping thousands into new careers for over three decade for both school leavers, international students and corporates.
For more than three decades, I have created through my education enterprises tech specialists, international students, women in business, creative professionals, and young people seeking careers in technology, digital innovation, film, and international business. I believe education and mentorship have the power to transform lives, communities, and future industries.
As Founder and CEO of education enterprises ACIT & IFTV (and the new ACDI), together with my exceptional partner Danny McGuire, my Sons Jonathan McGuire, William McGuire, Christian McGuire, incredible team of staff and international contractors has lead education enterprises, and have worked with thousands of students and professionals from more than 45 countries, providing guidance on education pathways, career development, business creation, leadership, and international opportunities.
Today, this commitment is evolving into a broader global initiative focused on scholarships, women’s leadership, and industry mentorship.
The Sonya McGuire Scholarship & Mentorship Initiative
Launching 2026–2027
The Sonya McGuire’s new foundation
A Scholarship & Mentorship was developed for socially disadvantaged women and children to support who are also keen to learn and demonstrates potential, resilience, creativity, and leadership.
The initiative will focus on providing opportunities for:
- Women pursuing careers in technology, AI, cybersecurity, and digital innovation.
- Emerging filmmakers, actors, writers, and creative producers.
- International students seeking education and career pathways.
- Young entrepreneurs building purpose-driven businesses.
- Regional and culturally diverse communities across Australia and internationally.
The program will combine scholarships with executive mentoring, industry networking, internships, leadership development, and access to global business and creative partnerships.
Empowering Women — A Global Leadership Program
The Empowering Women platform has grown beyond film production into a long-term leadership and social impact initiative in partnerships with all my enterprises.
Changing lives through digital innovation/a new media.
Originally created through the documentary Empowering Women – Essence of France (2019), the program is now expanding into an international series of projects celebrating women creating positive change across business, education, the arts, technology, wellness, and community leadership.
Future initiatives include:
- Women’s Leadership Forums.
- International mentorship circles.
- Documentary storytelling.
- Educational workshops.
- Scholarships for women in innovation and the creative industries.
- Online English education for women and children commenced in 2026 to provide opportunity to work across the globe together with Star Rider Academy and ACIT & IFTV.
The vision is to create opportunities for women through education, collaboration, and creative enterprise.
